Anyone know how to defeat this mech cluster that spawned right in my base? 2 snipers, 2 automatic weapons, no launchers/EMP grenades

TIL that raiders can die of their wounds off map after raids.

I caught a raider with nice stats but her son escaped the map heavily wounded. After about a day or two the prisoner got the Son Died mood loss and a -100 social score against the colonist that last shot him before he escaped. Had no idea that was possible.

Vikings has inspired me to change up my playstyle

    Posted: 23 Sep 2020 08:57 PM PDT

Maybe it's just because I recently binge watched The Last Kingdom on Netflix and read all the accompanying books, but the new Vikings faction mod has really excited me.

Usually, I play very much the same, whether tribal or spacer. Build a big base and try to turtle up inside it. I hate losing pawns and leaving my base poorly defended, so I never take on pirate bases or quests off of my map except for very close trade caravans.

But now I've got A Story and A Plan. I want to actually go out and pillage the world. My new colony is still in the first autumn, and the plan is to send out the first raid after next year's harvest.
