Posted: 24 Jun 2020 07:02 AM PDT So an animal ends up seeking revenge on a colonist and they just leisurely walk away like its no big deal. Is there a way to say "Hey MOVE!" [link] [comments] |

Anyone else think the game is a bit too merciless? Posted: 24 Jun 2020 06:10 AM PDT I'll try and explain, as I know this game is supposed to be a bit hard etc. So I tend to build colonies to the point where they're safe. So if I have a food supply, it'll usually get to the point where I can turn it off for a month. I've just flipped it to a harder difficulty and have had 3 mechanoid clusters in a row. Which of course have both shields up so I can't do shit against them but send increasingly wounded pawns. Each one has spawned sythers, or however you spell it, and they just don't fucking die, even when lured in to killboxes. So I've lost half my colony. 2 survivors lost limbs in the first shot from the centipedes. Then it sends some mega raids, and while they did clear out one of the clusters, they then went and harmed some of my few remaining colonists. This is all over a few days, and isn't even the hardest difficulty. And I don't even have Uranium slug turrets yet. Had to turn it down so that my colony wasn't defended by quite literally nothing as all my colonists were either wounded and missing limbs or incapable of violence. Just feels like I have to keep flipping between peaceful and slight challenge simply because I chose to not run my colony on the ragged edge, so it's not poor. [link] [comments] |
