    Anti Drug narc faction

    Posted: 09 Oct 2020 12:48 AM PDT

I always thought it would be cool to have a anti drug faction that once u start pumping drugs into the economy they come to shut down the operation, via burning drug fields, drug labs, kidnapping colonists, all while using non lethals, tranquilizers, shock batons ect.

    Best base building tips?

    Posted: 09 Oct 2020 07:41 AM PDT

I'm on a tropical patch and there's a nice clearing in the middle, since the mountains are very close to the edges.

What's the best base building tips? I am notoriously bad at base building so are there any definitely do/don'ts for building?

(I'm still trying to get hang of power, too. So I'm scouring YouTube for tips on that)

Ah, so how long does it take for someone to stumble onto an 'abandoned' colony again?

    Posted: 08 Oct 2020 04:52 PM PDT

The short story: Everyone is in cryo sleep, I though the robots from the mod I had could wake them up but apparently not. So how many hours of waiting am I looking at?

For people who like stories: I was playing a modded game, things going well but then a combo of back to back blight and solar flares basically knocked out my entire food supply. Now one of my personal rules is to have a cryo sleep for every colonist I like. So I put my boys and gals to bed, tried to ride out the storm and ended up getting a Mech drop with only 2 people standing and 1 down with the plague.
Still I had auto-cannons and heavy bolters so the Mech's got cleared but not before killing everyone. The Omni-bot's can't open the cryo things so instead I just used the last moments of my remaining colonists life to have them seal the base.

The good news is that the crops have come in several times now and I have over 1000 simple meals in cold storage and the quarries have been running so I've got like all the resources waiting for when I can wake these boys up.

Though decisions of Escobar of the rim

    Posted: 09 Oct 2020 04:08 AM PDT

Hello fellow pawns... colonists! Do you know what is the most efficient drug to produce for trade purposes? I mean taking into account price, sowing, harvesting yield and work amount to synthesize final form.

At first I thought about flake, but it's highly addictive and I'd like to avoid pushing few of my good colonists into life's junk pit. But if the money is much better, well then... Not the first life lost on the rim. Smokeleaf? Yayo? Or wine from cooking expanded maybe? Kinda softcore but can have quite a good price.

Ah yes, the 'kilmurd' mechanoid faction. Definitely not based off of 'kill' and 'murder'.

Give me literally any rimworld lore you have.

    Posted: 08 Oct 2020 08:43 PM PDT

I found this doc, and it got me obsessed with rimworld lore. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1fUO3KKbAbTxMP1lqphnnodY0NPoOVblCUkDw-54MDUc/pub Are there other good places to find more about the rimworld universe? It seems really interesting, like a really interesting dystopia/post apocalypse, and it reminds me of kenshi in the sense that there is probably a lot of interesting stuff to say about the universe.

Any videos online or just how to build certain things?

    Posted: 09 Oct 2020 05:14 AM PDT

Just state the game and I'm looking at beginner guides but they are all massively long and not to the point.

Would be great if a YouTuber just time stamped different buildings so I can quickly jump to it.

Any of you who started like me find anything online that helped?
