    In the mod vanilla animals expanded Livestock you could shear yaks. But now when they added the mod to vanilla (kinda weird) they removed that feature! They also removed the feature to milk muffalo but I don't mind. Is there a mod that brings back yak wool?

    PSA: Set your butcher table to "Do until you have X"

    Been searching around looking at lists of stuff people wish they knew earlier, since i just recently started playing. This was one i didn't see.

    Once you have a freezer established switch your butcher table to "Do until you have X", X being what you need to cook your next few batches of meals. Then set you freezer to allow, and prefer, fresh animal corpses.

    Many animals give more than one stack of meat when butchered, which takes up more space in the freezer. By doing this you can get away with a smaller freezer until you get to a point where it is easier to power a larger one.

    Obviously this is less effective if you mostly eat animals that drop less than a stack of meat.
