    I play naked brutality a lot, and oh boy is it easier with Randy. On harder difficulties Cassandra is guaranteed to bring on orchestrated onslaughts at the worst possible time. With Randy most of the time i'm getting a more peaceful game with a lot of time between huge disasters. Sure randomness is scary and all, but as in most games an opponent that knows what he's doing is 99% of the time harder than the guy mashing random buttons.

    I didn't even have time to roof the bunkers... my best shooter spent his last moments of consciousness drooped over the .50 cal desperately trying to stop the centipede from firing its inferno cannon before the toxic fallout took him.

    The tutorial encouraged me to get a bill set up to make some simple meals, so I was all like "sure let's do it forever". At the same time I was having my colonists scavenge the map for berries (<3 colony manager). Berries can last for like two weeks without a fridge. Simple Meals are only like half a week. Thanks to the bill I so sillily set, all my food will now spoil in half a week.

    "Build a fridge!" you may say. I respond with construction skill not high enough
