Monthly Challenge! -- December 10th, 2020 -- Muffalotopia Posted: 10 Dec 2020 04:58 AM PST Greetings, colonists of the Rim! It's been a bit over two years, but with our moderation team being more active these days, we thought it'd be fun to revive the monthly challenges. Since we're already well into December, and the holidays are coming up, we're going for something that's not only easy, but has multiple ways for you to achieve victory. MUFFALOTOPIA:
The challenge will have three options for completion:
A save has been provided, with starting pawns, supplies, and the first two muffalo. It is permadeath only, and dev mode is disabled. While it's not a disqualification, we do ask that you avoid using mods to keep the contest as even as possible, especially ones that affect taming, training, wool production, et cetera. The difficulty will start at Randy: Strive to Survive, though you may change it. Just try to not give yourself too much of an advantage; we want this to be fair. Note: It's in vanilla, without Royalty, but you may enable it if you wish. Anyone who completes any of these challenges will be rewarded with a custom, colorized flair according to which one they achieve (though you'll have the option to keep your own flair and just have the colorization added). There will be a fourth optional flair for all participants who try, but don't reach their goal. RULES:
Best of luck to you, Rim ranchers. We look forward to seeing your herds! [link] [comments] |

Posted: 10 Dec 2020 05:15 AM PST A new biome where the entire map is considered indoors such as an underground bunker or cavern / mine. there would be mountains as normal with concrete or stone floors instead of trees it would be oil drums with chemfuel or stalagmites I've seen good spawning of a ruined vehicle in the re growth wastelands biome which inspired me. Smokeleaf inspired post. [link] [comments] |

CE;profitable shock lances against the empire Posted: 10 Dec 2020 04:19 AM PST So when you play with CE, the empire becomes really really dangerous because most bullets just bounce of their armor, but if you use a shock lance, you can strip them and use their gear(also you can sell it for more silver than the shock lance itself(especially usefull if you want a cataphract set), does anyone use this? I've forced 16yo teen to take yayo each day so i can get my +12 honor. Posted: 09 Dec 2020 08:41 AM PST Okay. So i've accepted that quest with refuges. It was really nice because i needed more hands to haul 20k steel that i've mined across an entire map. 4 additional colonists with chance of some of them to stay is pretty good deal. Then i've got a quest called "Hospitality for Yeoman". Antasius was a pessimistic 16yo rich kid. In case you don't know, you have to keep guest happy in order to complete quest and get this sweet sweet honor. After a few days of peace these damn refuuges decided to betray me in a middle of the night. They broke all the furniture in their rooms. Of course i've slapped the hell out of them. 1 out of 4 refuuges have died. 3 were lying unconscious at my gorgeus mosaic wood floor. I've decided to punish them for their betrayal, i've decided to harvest their organs, and most importantly, take back what they've stolen from me with their inhospitality, disrespect and betrayal, their hearts... But oh no, i have that 16yo depressive rich kid that i have to keep happy, and i doubt that he will be satisfied with mass organ harvesting from imprisoned refuuges. And guess what i've did? I've force feeded damn yayo to this teen each day in order to compensate debuffs from organ harvesting. Of course he got yayo addiction from that, but does it really matter if his happiness is always above 50%? I've successfully finished the quest and got my +12 honor. I've got honor and new title for mass organ harvesting and making 16yo kid a drug addicted animal for him to stay happy. I'm speechless... [link] [comments] |
