War Crimes on the Rim 101 ( Guide ) Posted: 19 Nov 2020 03:48 AM PST -Forceful organ harvesting operation: This is pretty standard, just make a small and cramped room where you want to perform surgeries on the unfortunate souls that survive a raid. Make sure to have a stack of medicine nearby. -Killboxes: This is self explanatory, the more deadly the design the better the screams are. -Decapitation and head staking ( mod ): Also self explanatory, let's you decapitate only live pawns and mount their heads on pikes, or make shells out of their heads or even mount them on head stands as decorations for your colony -Questionable ethics ( mod ): Let's you clone and manipulate pawns -RimJobWorld ( mod ): Oh boi, does this need any introduction that will get me on the FBI blacklist for the 30th time ? -Call of Cthulhu ( mod ): Basically this mod allows you to perform human sacrifice and other things related to that. -Cannibal meal + Bad people ( mod ): These things allow you to cook a specific cannibal meal and eventually feeding it enough to a colonist who isn't a cannibal will become one. -Cannibalism: Also self explanatory. -Forceful and systematic amputation and beatings: This is similar to the first method, you basically amputate a prisoner/s limbs and leave them in a cell where you will beat them on a regular basis with a club or fists until they become uncouncious. Then you get your worst medic to heal them without surgery, let their wounds heal for 3-5 days, then repeat ( it can be a waste of resources, but hey if you wanna do it for a long time then go ahead ). -Forcefully making prisoners addicted to a drug and letting them go into withdrawal + frequent beatings: Also self explanatory, you can forcefully administer drugs to pawns or prisoners frequently enough to develop an addiction, then leave them in a cell with more prisoners until they go into withdrawal and start to pick fights frequently with other prisoners while also giving them beatings on a regular basis like mentioned above. -Making a gulag: This one is also self explanatory, can be built more easier in hotter and colder climates, best option are cold biomes like tundra, boreal forest and ice sheet, just make sure that the temperature is cold enough for them to not develop frostbite and die from that if you plan on torturing them enough. Same with the desert gulag, make sure that they don't die from heat stroke. -War Crimes Expanded ( mod https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2059450213 1.1 and 1.2 compatible version ): Introduces torture methods for prisoners and pawns, can be a heaven for masochistic pawns. -Prison Labor ( mod ): This mods allow you to put your prisoners to work, you can make them clean, cook, harvest and plant crops, etc. -Rat swarm: Basically you need to tame and breed rats to ridiculous numbers and making them attack raiders. -Beta traps + Traps plus ( mod ): Adds more traps for your killboxes, but they are hella op, so only use it if you feel like rendering guns useless in the mid-late game. Should I get the Royalty DLC or get started with mods? Posted: 19 Nov 2020 05:52 AM PST I have just finished my first play through and loved it with my next play through I am unsure if i should download a bunch of mods or get the DLC and run through that what are your thoughts? Would playing through the DLC first improve the experience? (I would rather wait to get the DLC when its on sale) [link] [comments] |

Alternate Methods of Corpse Disposal involving hungry racoons Posted: 18 Nov 2020 07:20 PM PST Does anybody else use hungry tamed animals that are easy to tame to eat your corpses? If not, this may sound morbid. I currently have a small, dark, refrigerated room where I keep a family of incestuous raccoons alive. I deposit my corpses in there and, voila, I have fed raccoons and no corpses. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 19 Nov 2020 08:34 AM PST I have a question for you guys. If someone give a prisoner a mindscrew, a psi harmoniser, some pegleg/hand, and relase it, they actually come back next time as a raider, and it use its weaponised mood broadcasting ability, driving mad its comrades? Asking for a friend. [link] [comments] |
Do people need toilets and is there such thing as too cold for a freezer? Posted: 19 Nov 2020 02:11 AM PST I've recently just started this game and I've been wondering if people go to the toilet in rimworld? I haven't seen it myself but I'm thinking maybe it comes later? Or is that something that just doesn't happen in the game? Also is there such thing as too cold for a freezer? Like can I just crank it down to -500 or something and never worry about it or is that bad? What's the ideal temp? [link] [comments] |
