    I knew nothing about it. Didn't look anything up - no wiki or anything. Got about 4 hours into my first colony after finishing the tutorial. Was really enjoying it. Had backstories for the characters made up in my mind. Two couples had even come out of it. I was working hard to make it the best I could for them. They even had a *jade* chessboard table.

    Then I found a neat ancient building thing - "let's check it out", I said.

    ​

    And with that, my colony is no more.

    ​

    Defeated and discouraged... as soon as this is posted - I will happily press *New colony*.

    I'm really gonna enjoy this game.
