What I think the Tier 2 Androids from the Android Mod look like. Their sprite and in game description suggest a simple, torso and pelvis plated body with a thick “spine connecting the two. Building upon the Tier 1 design, the limbs have more “muscle” and are covered by plates.

Am I the only one that the game really hypnotize?

    Posted: 07 Feb 2020 04:54 AM PST

Not that I play that much to the game. I'm used to be focused while playing other Base Management Game and I do quite long sessions. BUT with Rimworld it affects me a lot more. Like I don't hear my phone ring, I literally don't see the time go by, I'm always saying to myself "just one more task/building/raid and then I go to bed". And Rimworld is one of the very few games that affects me that much in this way.

Is it the same for you?

The bugs thought they were clever when they dug into my bunker. Unluckily for them, embrasures work both ways

    Actually the truth

We lost White early on before we had a sarcophagus to put her in so we dug a grave outside the colony and buried her. Later we got some sarcophagi built so we dug her up and Lomen put her in one. For some reason, Lomen thought that this was the best image to remember White’s life

Father and son from different factions, interact with the same evil Warlock, sending them both into a coma. Humps arrived two days before his son, and will never know how close they were to meeting again.

And thus my first colony met its end. Would've survived the elementals if ALL my available defenders hadn't gotten rekt by a meteor.

As a new player, this subreddit scares me.

    Posted: 07 Feb 2020 07:57 AM PST

I've got about 15 hours playtime. Just unlocked turrets. Life is simple. Not using any mods. Raids usually consists of 3 or 4 enemies with basic weapons. My 4 colonists are happy, I'm happy. Then I visit this subreddit and see glimpses of things to come. Raids that consist of 50+ enemies, colonies with 30+ pawns, aliens that borough under your walls and into your base, space flight, pods that can drop enemy troops pass your defences and directly into your base etc etc. End game looks scary. This sub scares me for what is to come. I was prioritising research but now I'm thinking I'll be happier as a low tech colony. Does the difficulty really ramp up to such extremes or is most of what I'm seeing in this sub the result of mods?

Another update to my Thrumbo Oaxacan Sculpture: finally started the second layer of plaster AND got its tail on. After a few days of doing little to nothing.
